The Monumental stadium also known as the River Plate stadium is the home of Club Athletico River Plate and the Argentinian national football team.The stadium was inaugarated on 25th May 1938.The stadium complex also has facilities for Tennis,Basketball and has a olympic size swimming pool.It can be reached by train and bus lines and is within walking distance from the Barrancas de Belgrano transportation hub.The complex also includes a sizeable parking lot.
