Home to the Parramatta Eels of Australia's National Rugby League (NRL), the record attendance of 27918 was achieved when Parramatta Stadium hosted a 1994 mid-season Rugby League Test when Australia defeated France 54-0. The stadium was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on March 5, 1986
