This is the home of the Stoke Potters and Spitfires premier league and conference league speedway teams. The stadium had been used previously for Greyhound and Stock Car racing as well as speedway and still does host various other motor sport events occasionaly such as short track racing, Sidecar Speedway & Monster Truck shows.

There is the Staffordshire Knot across from the Stadium but I would recommend just getting a beer inside the ground.

From the south: Leave the M6 at Junction 15, follow A519 to Newcastle, then A34 to Chesterton and follow signposts to Loomer Road Industrial Estate. From the north: Leave M6 at Junction 16,take A500 and exit at second junction. At roundabout take 3rd exit (A34) towards Newcastle. At the next roundabout go straight on, at traffic lights go straight on again and at next roundabout (Mcdonalds on the left) turn right 3rd exit follow road untill next roundabout and take 2nd exit (Loomer road) stadium roughly a mile on the left.
