Prenton Park is home to English football (soccer) team 'Tranmere Rovers' who are based in Birkenhead, Wirral. The ground was built in 1911 and currently holds a total of 16,587 spectators. The records attendance at the ground was during a game against 'Stoke City' in the FA Cup 4th Round on February 5th, 1972.
