Beschreibung:
Stade de France, designed by Architects Macary, Zublena, Regembal and Costantini is the largest stadium in France and holds a total of 78,500 spectators. The stadium which took three years to build was opened for the world cup that was held in France in 1998, the same year that France won it. Stade de France is now used for International Football and Rugby matches and also can be used for large music concerts The stadium which replaced Parc des Princes as national stadium has a number of unique design features such as the stairs gradually get wider towards the top to help maximise seating but also help the flow of people exiting the ground. The seats on the lower tier are sat on a steel frame and can be retracted backwards to allow space for a running track. This will reduce capacity to 75,000. Stade de France
