Estadi Olimpic Montjuic is a 5* rated stadium and home of Spanish football (soccer) team RCD Espanyol.. The stadium was built in 1927 but renovated in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics where the Estadi Olimpic Montjuic hosted the main athletics events. The stands of the stadium fully enclose the pitch and one of the stands are covered. There is an athletics track around the perimeter of the pitch which was used for the Olympics.
